LOCAL TRAFFIC APPROACHES (Traffic-Wales) : Ewloe | Deeside Park | Queensferry | Aston | Halkyn | Dobshill - Deeside traffic webcams

The Deeside College Stadium is on the south side of the Connah's Quay to Flint Road at Deeside College near the junction of Church Road with Golftyn Lane. The entrance to the stadium is via the Deeside College (postcode CH5 4BR - enter this in any of the above map site links) main entrance.

Visitors arriving from the A55 exit at the A5119 Northop to Connah's Quay. At the meeting with the B5129 Connah's Quay High Street, at the Custom House pub, turn left and the stadium is on the left hand side in about one mile. Drive past the ground to the college main entrance and follow the signs to the football club car parking area.

From the M56 follow the A5117 via the Deeside Industrial Park and the Flintshire suspension bridge. Once over the bridge, leave the road at the first exit (B5129), signposted for Connah's Quay and leave the double roundabout at the first exit, which appears to double back on the direction from which you have arrived. Turn right into Deeside College main entrance and follow signs around the campus to the football car park.

If travelling from the west and avoiding the A55, follow signs for Flint and remain on the A548 until the exit immediately before the suspension bridge, the B5129 to Connah's Quay. Visitors arriving by rail at Shotton can catch buses no. 10 or 11 to the stadium from Chester Road West, which is the main road through Shotton and Connah's Quay. There are two minicab firms near the station, or tel. Deeside Cars (freephone) 0500 816606. It is a twenty minute walk from Shotton station, up and over the "Quay Hill", or follow the cycle path from Shotton low level (coast line) station down to the river Dee and then downstream for a 30 minute nature walk that will take you past the training gound and if you allow time, lunch and a pint at the Old Quay House, in proper Connah's Quay!
